I Love My Mum.

Happy Mothers Day!

I haven't posted in so long, I'm sorry. I have a lot of things going on right now and I wish I could post more but I feel consistently knackered.

Anyway, my Mum.

She's great. She cooks the best food, she loves me to bits and pieces, even when I get annoyed with her I know she only wants the best for me. We argue a lot too. A LOT. She also knows when to give me a really big hug. I just love her.

  1. Sounds about right. It's usually the case that the person you can argue with easiest is the person in whose love you feel the most secure. It was nice that you were able to mention the arguing; it's a compliment to your mother. Nice to read a post from you.

Do you realise how well constructed this picture is? The light's wrong, though. It needed to be about ten degrees more frontal.

  2. Hahaha! I agree about the arguing :)
And the picture was just a bog-standard holiday snap that I like of me and Mum, so it's nice you like it!
BTW: I have been trying like CRAZY to reply to your comments on my 'Monster in other peoples clothes' post, but it WON'T LET ME. Sehr annoyed.

  3. It's a very engaging picture, and the attention to the golden section is very nearly immaculate. (Yawn, yawn... Yes, I used to be a photographer. Yawn again...)

As for the other issue, maybe somebody was NOT AMUSED.

Right, now I'm going to make a second attempt to understand your latest post (I'm not overly bright sometimes) and then it's off to attempt further engagement with Jean Paul Sartre. It isn't easy, especially when I'm coincidentally editing my own novel and our styles are rather different. He's a bit better than me, but I refuse to be influenced.
